  1. I just got a USR Sportster Winmodem last week and am very pleased 
  2. with it so far. It is indeed PnP, all I did was pulg it in 
  3. installed the driver disk and off we go. I am using Win95 though, 
  4. are you?

  6. As for the speed, there must be something really wrong with you 
  7. setup, I consistently connected to the ISP here at 28.8kps (~95% of the 
  8. time) and sometimes get a thru-put of ~6kb/s when using the web. 
  9. FTP is usually around 3.3 kb/s, so that's not too bad at all.

  11. I am just hoping that the 33.6k upgrade will be here soon since my 
  12. ISP do have Courier.
